When your browser is open, click on the "Help" Icon, then go to "About Internet Explorer". Thats where I see what version of IE Im using. I cant answer the question about auto phrase, since posting pictures works for me using google chrome or firefox, I can only assume the other settings are correct. My problems go away when I dont use Explorer 9 and use Firefox or Google Chrome instead. If I open the FTE in IE 9, I get nowhere.

Just loaded google chrome. Tried to load a picture. The pic shows up in the drag and drop screen, but when I insert it, it turns to url version. I am still missing something.

Test a success

I loaded a pic, but it is kind of big.

It loads in the drag and drop screen as a picture, inserts as url and when you send the post, it comes out as a picture.

IE 11 works

Just repeated the procedure with IE 11. Same as in Chrome. Pic loads in drag and drop, imports as url, shows up as a pic in the actual post.

The new uploader works with the built-in image resizer that FTE has.

Even if it's an enormous-sized image, it will reduce it to sensible sizes.

Actually I kind of like the size, but feel a little like a hog when I post them, they are great for detail. If thats what the system is designed to do, then great!

Pic's are a little big for my low res 10" screen.

I hate having to scroll side to side in order to read the text on a whole page of 15 posts just because somebody decided to post a huge pic.
I have this forum zoomed out as far as I can easily read.
Maybe I just need glasses?

Adjust your Image Resizer settings...

User CP -> Options -> Bottom of third pane -> Adjust the X and Y sizes (the dropdown just lets you select various user interfaces).

I've tried this before.
It didn't help then.
Is something new?

Chris,
You told me this before.

This screen is 1024x600.
My option is set to 800 pixels wide.
What am I missing?

My picture posts are so much bigger than Diesel Junkie, how do I post a picture smaller like he did? Does the automatically resized only work on larger pictures to reduce them to a maximum size?
