When it rains...it pours...

Wow, what a week. I was told I would receive my pistons on Wednesday the 28th. No pistons, called Thursday, tracked them said they would be the Friday.
Well guess what...no pistons. Here to find out, I have $10,000 sitting in a shipping depot 2 hours away and they are not sure why they didn't leave. But will personally guarantee they will be delivered on Monday.

My apologies to everyone who has been patiently waiting.

Thanks Tim!

Without your help we would be getting a lot less performance from our 400 Fords!

Well so much for "personally guarantee"
Monday came and gone and no pistons.
Now realize these pistons have been sitting 2 hours from me since Wednesday or Thursday.
I called directly to the depot this time and asked where my order is.
he said they didn't have a truck going this direction Monday.
But they will be her to day he says...
The same guys who guaranteed we would have them Monday.
I can't believe this is really happening.

Make up your mind - Do I live in Podunk or does Tim?

Tim - I can't wait to open the boxes! As for the wait, as SDDL-UP said we wouldn't have many (any?) options for power on our 400's w/o you. The wait will be well worth it.

Dad would have said "The first liar doesn't have a chance." I live in a metropolis then, a town of 7,500. But Chris calls it Podunk - even while he's in it.
