99 F-350 ABS ?

Vehicle=99 F-350 4x4 6.8L crew cab
I've searched on here and can only find info on a on 7.3L diesel trucks!
I have an ABS light on with trans slippage and no speedometer(erratic); replaced speed sensor in diff. still have same problem. Looked at trans and didn't see any sensor's or I overlooked where they are at; the same with the front wheels, I don't see any sensors there either. How do I know what and where sensors are located on this vehicle???? Please Help as I have to tow a race car to the track.......

Found only 1 plug on trans and that was on pass side, it's a 8-10 pronged plug, unplugged it sprayed it off and the connector also. Still have ABS lite on; but the overdrive lite isn't flashing anymore, speedometer is still erratic and trans seem to be slipping, is there something else I can look at? (another plug?)

If you have the codes read it will tell you what is actually wrong and give you a starting point of what to you need to look at but with the erratic speedo it sounds like the sensor in the rear diff what kind did you replace it with? Check and clean the connection with electrictronis part cleaner not carb or brake cleaner.

You prob have just rear abs like me...usually its the rear diff sensor that screws things up. Or the wiring/connector etc..

Question

Pulled codes; Here's what I got!!!
P1000-OBD system readiness test not complete-
P0503-Vehicle speed sensor a erratic/high
P0713-Trans fluid temp sensor a ckt high input
P0743-Ckt electrical
P0750- Shift sol A malfunction
P0755-Shift sol b malfunction
P1500- Vehicle speed sensor
P1754- Coast clutch sol ckt

Could all this be related to the speed sensor? I've replaced the speed sensor, cleared all codes except P1000, still erratic speedometer and trans slips or disengages in overdrive?

Or should I just get rid of the truck?? It's been an awesome tow vehicle....

When they get complicated like this it might be good to take it to a tranny expert..

Try changing your VSS, located on top of the rear differential.
