tax !
Is that the normally aspirated 3.5 ?
If so, it would be somewhat difficult to make it run like a turbocharged engine unless you add a turbocharger
But, there are probably some small tuning and part tweaks on a gas engine to give you maybe 10 to 15 hp...
But not sure it will be a good return on investment...
good luck on your search !

I posted same Q on a diesel site for my 7.3. One of the contributors suggested the same tuner:
AIW 2013 Ford Explorer MYCALIBR8OR Tuning Device - Livernois Motorsports
Seems to be like the SCMT I have in my 7.3 turbo diesel
Anybody tried it, or know someone who has?

5 star tuning?
I use the Super-chip on my 7.3L and have read good things about 5 Star tuning but have no personal experience.
Once I get wife her suv and the Lariat becomes mine I will be able to provide that feedback...
Can't believe motorheads here have not used 5 star tuning on the explorer already??
