recently purchased the ts 6 position chip for a 2001 f250 7.3 and am wondering if the shifting of my truck is normal with the chip or if my chip is malfunctioning. ts told me to send it back and they would re burn it but before i do i want to make sure it is indeed not supposed to do that.i have read that ts doesn't mess with shift points and i have read they do so idk? the problem i am having is in the 50, 75, and 100 hp setting it's shifting into overdrive at 40 mph. this only happens when I'm just cruising along but it seems to still be too much and it definitely doesn't sound right. just trying to gather some second opinions.

i have the SWAMPS TS chip. on econ/hwy is shifts into OD around 42 mph...on the hot street it shift close to 50 and downshifts hard about 42. it also really bangs the gears if I get on it real hard in that street setting.....

 

I have your chip but I don't have an auto trans so I'm of no help to you
