1993 E350 7.5 L - Flashers

No turn signals but emergency flashers work.

Is there a 2nd Flasher for the turn signals? Or does the emergency flasher also serve the signals?

Thanks for the help!

PS: I see from the Rockauto catalog that this design may have a flasher and relay built into the turn signal switch. Comments?

Flash to pass & turn signals are wired to interior fuse 4. If flash to pass is also not working check the fuse.

There is a single electronic flasher fed by fuse 1 for flashers and fuse 4 for turn signals

Here's a diagram. It does look like they use one flasher. Looking at the diagram, some other questions need to be answered;

Do the brake lights work including the high mount light? That would verify that fuse 1 is good.

After reading Franklins post I double checked the fuse list

It shows fuse 4 turn lamp, flash to pass & others.

Fuse 5 Turn lamps, backup lamps, slugomatic control switch and others.

Go figure..

Turn signals working again!
Turned out to be corrosion on the turn signal switch terminals! ( i.e. electrical power loss due to corrosion)

I had checked related fuses before I posted.

Thanks for your replies gents!

NOTE: That's not the end of the story though. 70 miles out on a trip down to Cannon Beach, OR, a fire erupted under the dog house. Fortunately, I put the fire out with my fire extinguisher. Turns out pesky rodents has built a sizable nest on top the back of my engine (out of site unless you popped the dog house).

The MH was towed back to my house with some wiring and vacuum line damage as well as damage to the dog house and maybe more. Lucky I did't witness THE THING BURN TO THE GROUND. Scary moments!
