49 Ford Parts for Sale/Free

Greetings all. With my decision to go to the dark side with my 49 Ford build, I have a number of running gear/power plant parts for sale. I have a 6 cyl/226 engine that was running the day before I pulled it from the truck. I also have a three speed transmission, rear axle and spring set, also the drive shaft. All of the shift/clutch linkage was intact and a matter of fact the clutch and pressure plate look really good (there is a rebuilt sticker on the pressure plate). I know living up in Montana, it will take an arm and a leg to ship the heavier parts, so I'm offering them (engine components, tranny, rear end) up for free. I REALLY don't want to see these go to scrap if at all possible! Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks!!

That is a great thing that you are doing and somebody close will probably take you up on your generous offer. When my truck is done I will be giving away everything that I didn't use too. I will have used window regulators, hood latch mechanism, and lots of small items since I also went to the dark side of the road.
Good luck with your build and post pics along the way!

Doug! I forgot how to PM. I don't do it enough to remember. But you might have some engine stuff I could use. I guess you could PM me if you like.

Oh, I also have the way cool electric vacuum pump that ran the windshield wipers! I had never heard of such a thing till I took it off the firewall. I took it apart and cleaned it up some. It works with 12V, but struggles to turn on 6V.
