No Headers... all stock as near as I can tell.

I did find another cracked vac line however. I am just going to replace all the old brittle nylon/ plastic vac lines completely.

Update...

After finding another cracked nylon sucky vac line I just replaced them all...

Vac line diagram under the hood for a 94 Ford F250 w/ 351

Old garbage lines and I used 7/64th Gates lines and neatly wrapped them above the old position to keep them off the heat from the valve cover and exhaust. And I am on like my ninth cup of joe and zinging WOO WOO~

Just cleared all codes, will report back!

Resolved!

Broken vacuum lines turned out to be the culprit...

So lets recap.

Code 332- EGR not opening adequately

Check Vacuum lines- Particularly the WHITE & GREEN lines. he white line originates from the VRESR (Black vacuum canister passenger side engine bay) and heads to the EVR. The green line is the one that goes to the EGR Valve itself.

There is a red vacuum line that is the main source originating from the tree on the intake manifold.. however its unlikely to throw just a code 332 if it breaks, it feeds more than the egr vacuum.

Also noteworthy to check the EGR Valve Position Sensor & the EVR solenoid if the vacuum lines don't happen to be the culprit after all.

Me too. Glad it turned out to be simple, albeit time consuming!

I have almost the exact same situation on my 93 f250 with a 460. I have headers though. New O2 sensor (only put it in cause I had to go underneath connect exhaust and it was wide open). mine runs great but after about five miles, when she warms up the CEL light goes on. I pulled codes and got Memory 332 and 311 and engine running 332, 311 and 538. My vacuum lines are quite brittle so I will give that a go. Where can I get the vacuum lines? Apparently Autozone and O'reilly's don't have them hear in Phoenix.
Thanks and I am new to the site, though I rarely post. More of a voyeur I guess. Thanks

Oh yea, with headers will I always get the 311 code because the air rams from stock exhaust no longer go to smog system?
<table width="87%" class="MsoNormalTable" style="width: 87%; mso-cellspacing: 1.5pt; mso-yfti-tbllook: 1184;" border="1" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr style="mso-yfti-irow: 0; mso-yfti-firstrow: yes; mso-yfti-lastrow: yes;"><td style="padding: 0.75pt; border: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;">

</td><td style="padding: 0.75pt; border: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;">AIR system not working – Single, Right or Rear HO2S – Air Injection <o></o>
</td></tr></tbody></table>

No air injection on 93 460, just the dumb smog pump crap.

Sounds like bad vacuum lines and the 538 was operator error.

"Smog pump" is for the AIR Injection system. Yes you will always get a Code 311 if the rest of the AIR Injection plumbing is gone.

Go to the auto parts store, you can by Gates rubber tubing by the foot. It's black, but hey....it works and will outlive that crappy colored vinyl stuff.

K, you said you bought 7/64. I went to parts store and found 5/32 but it was the rigid line and only in a 3' length. 3' ain't gonna be enough, like you I want to replace all the lines, they keep breaking. I'm guessing they have larger rolls somewhere else in the store? So you had no issues with the rubber line? BTW I have the same engine.

My local NAPA store had it by the foot on a reel. No issues whatsoever using rubber vacuum tubing. That vinyl crap is exactly that...crap.

Cool. I looked more closely at the picture of your engine, specifically at the EGR valve. Did you use pieces of the original tubing as connectors to slip the new rubber hose over? Just wondering. Thanks for the info.
