Well I got them in thanks to all the great info I found on FTE! Thanks to all the guys that have done this mod in the past and especially the guy that had step by step pics! My hats off to you guys that take the time to do that. I've got a question though, I ended up removing the wasted space cubby hole on the drivers side below the 12v outlet and was shocked to discover a "dead plug" on the back side with a couple wires going to it. Anyone have a clue what this would be for or why it's there?

 

I'm thinking it may be the air bag cut off switch. Crew cabs don't have them (I'm assuming that's what you have, can't see sigs on the mobile app).

 

That must be it bc I do have a crew cab. Thanks, I was shocked when I popped it out and it had wires hooked to it.

I'm new here and don't have a signature set up yet bc I generally use my phone to access the site.

 

Yup air bag cutoff switch. This came up several months ago during someone else's uplifter switch install. I had a cab wiring diagram that I found on the net. I think it is plug C290. As long as the switches work, that is all that matters.
