6.0 build update

My 03 blew its top thought it was head gasket (thinking it was injector cups ) anyways tore it down to bear block seems i got a remand motor great right ..... NO the mains where so tight i had copper showing on 2 bearings ..so i checked everything crank is good , rods are good ,turns out the motor was built too tight so sent the crank to be turned and polished as well with the cam checked the new crank in the mains and I now have a .002 oil clearance ill up date with pics this far as soon as i get more time ! its slow going right now do to the cost of this thing (fix my 92 IDI for 300$) so for now im just waiting on more parts cause the heads are next !

I wonder how much damage occurs from people using aftermarket oil filter caps with oem filters. If the drain is not closed would the lpo be significantly lower?

ya know the button in the oil filter housing ? that was completely missing when i got the truck and fix after i saw it only 100-200 miles but unknown how many mile it drove like that before me so that was probably my issue before i had one
