1990 vs 1992 fuel tank selector switch
First off, thanks to all the contributors on this forum. I bought a 1990 F250 (in poor to fair condition) last year, and have slowly been bringing it up “dependable”. This is my first post, but I’ve been taking advantage of the wealth of information on many topics to help me along. So thank you all!

I’ve got some dual tank issues. After researching, and diagnosing, it looks like the tank selector switch is PART of the problem. It’s at least the part that I’m going to fix first.<o></o>

I’d like to get a new selector switch immediately … from O’Reilly’s on the way home. However, they only have the selector switch for a 1992 and later. Looks like the same switch as the 90-91 to me. Does anybody know the difference? If it’s just a fit difference, but the function is the same, then it’ll work for me (I’ll make it fit J ).<o></o>

It’s the same availability issue online as well. 1992 switches and later are abundant, but I can’t find one for a 1990. Hmmm.<o></o>
