I hate the heat with that humidity. When I travel down to the Vancouver area the first town on the trip is probably around 85 Miles. I will normally stop there for a coffee. If it is warm and sunny you can feel the difference in the air between there and here. It just feels heavy.
I don't get to experience high heat very frequently. We occasionally get up to 30°C and I love it. But then, it is the hot and dry, usually. I absolutely love the few nights when it hangs around 20°C all night ...
It's not too bad here. The winters are very mild compared to what I remember. Summers are hotter, not as windy and overall the weather is a little more predictable. The saying there was walk in the front door and then out the back door and the weather will change.
