Sounds like fun Rick. I work tomorrow then off for me normal 2 days then back in for 3 days. Been a heck of a couple of days here.

Coworker whose wife also works for the university had her car totaled yesterday. She drives a dodge stratus. Woman in an Escalade came blowing down the street where she had parked and hit it. Pushed it 65 feet down the road, then over a curb and through a fence into a yard. The woman told one officer she was only doing about 30 mph. Told a city officer she was going slower then that. Caved the rear of the car in to the backseat.Tore a hole in the drivers side rear tire that is at least a few inches wide and several inches long as well. Luckily his wife was in her office when the accident happened. The woman in the escalde was hurt. And to top it off she didnt have a valid license. Then today the county fire department where I live had a line of duty death. A FADO ( Fire Apparatus Driver Operator) died after having a heart attack during a training exercise at the academy.

I saw that about the firefighter having a heart attack in NY. Thoughts and prayers going out for his family.

Certainly was Shaun. The car can be replaced but that firefighter won't be back.

Yeah. The coworkers car will be replaced. He is just not sure when. Luckily they have a second car.As for the firefighter no he cant be replaced. From what I have heard from the news and a few people I know he was getting ready to retire in the next few years.

Worked his butt off for retirement and never got to enjoy it, how sad.

It really is Rick. The county has already stated they are considering it a line of duty death no matter what.

I would consider it line of duty because he was at work.
