My Saturday started at 3am... had to run the youngest to the school for her band trip to Adventureland.

 

Holy crap! That's a little ridiculous.

 

That's what I thought... they had a competition at 8:30am, and it's a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive to Des Moines from here. They didn't get back till 10pm. No sleeping in on Sunday either as the oldest had to be at church for music practice at 7:30. As usual, their mom missed out on all the early/late running around.

 

Rough weekend. If they wanted her there that early, they should have had them go the day before and get a hotel. That's ridiculous.

 

I thought about getting a hotel for the weekend and taking her myself. But, had too much other crap to get done at home.

 

Yeah, I know how that goes. I got a ton done on Saturday, it was just gorgeous out. But, still have a bunch of landcaping to do. I want that done by the end of the month, so I can spend the weekends on the 67. I'm also taking a bunch of Mondays off, to work on the truck also.
