Monte's 95 Build Thread

not a whole lot in the form of aftermarket support for the 300. its not all that hard with a little patience and a comfortable place to work.
lots of turbo threads, one good one on here that I know of. quick google search will give you plenty of ideas, and while it can be done on speed density, itd be better overall for reliability to run MAF.

Got ya Trav, I honestly keep getting mixed up with the 04's intake and the 95's intake i thought it was a single large tube until i looked at the first page then that jolted my memory and reminded me that i was thinking of the intake on the 04 lol. I know so much about the 04 that i think it's overlapping when i try to remember something about the 95 when i am trying to recall something like if it has MAF or not.

Thanks trav! One day it will, she needs a lot of work but she will get there eventually just a little mkre work to do. My plans are to get a rubber floor mat because the current carpwt soaks up the water and salt badly so when replacing that i will clean up the seats and it will be easy ti clean and keep the floor pan from rusting. Also i will be masking and painting the dash black and potentially installing my 08 console in place of yhe broken center seat.
I am also going to plastidip the lower tan two tkne black and swap our the rear blocks and springs for my old SD ones and then lift the from and get some new tires.
Would there be a benefit for an LS in the rear and new gears for 35s? I am not sure how the 300 with the m5od will react to the 35s. It will not be driven highway often its going to be a drive aroind town truck that will ocasionally haul some stuff i the bed. Only time i will drive highway is if i am going offroading or somethi g elsewhere than locally in which case i mag even rKe the 04 lol.

Regear most definatly with 35s. The 300 and M5OD a lot of guys on here have with 35s and no problems as long as they regear.
LS maybe kinda depends. Offroad it will be nice but for around town you probably won't need it much.
Curious how the 08 console will come out. I am having a hard time deciding weather to run buckets or a bench in my F150 since I love the bench a lot but buckets would be kinda nice.

Not 100% but I would guess between 4.10 and 4.56.
Also I would be more concerned about the D44 TTB (twin traction beam) holding up with 35s. A lot of people claim they don't like 35s. Most whom go to 35s do a SAS which if I end up going to 35s I will do it but again another not decided.

Wow a lot goin on in this thread since I last checked...a few hours ago....
35s will be perfectly fine with the 44 ttb and light 4wheeling/street driving. If you were running 35 boggers and gettin violent then it'd be suspect. I ran the 44 with 35s for 3 years, and I did get violent. Granted, it had a wimpy 302 during that time so that helped. It never blew, I replaced it after it was worn and needed a rebuild. What'd I replace it with? Dana 50, ran 37s with that and beat the hell out of it for another 3 years. Ran it for 6 months with engine in my sig, then when it also needed a rebuild in went the kingpin because I had it. If I didnt, I woulda rebuilt the 50.
Moral of the story; you'll be fine with 35s, especially at stock power.
