Signal Mirrors on basic XL truck

Anyone install trailer tow mirrors with the signals on a basic XL truck? I have an 11 and purchased a set of replacement mirrors with the turn signals that I would like to wire in. Just looking to see if anyone has gone this route. I am not looking for power mirrors just want the signal and parking lights to function. Thanks

You need to pull the door panel first and make sure the wiring harness is there. My 14 does have the wiring present but I'm not sure if they make manual mirrors with the lights on them.

My 09 XL has them. Came with them though, i didnt install. Would be nice if they telescoped but thats just one more thing to break. Im happy with just the lights/signals

Well. They do telescope. By hand though, not electric

My '12 XL came with the telescoping signal mirrors, part of the upgraded interior option.

Wiring is probably there for them as well as the power function, would just need the switch.

Mine doesn't have any power options. I know they offered it from the factory but mine doesn't have any power options. Just a bare bones work truck. I know I am going to have to run wires and splice into the harness just seeing if anyone else has done this before.

I'm sure that if the harness isn't there that it is available, either new or from a salvage yard.
