Hi all,
Looking for anyone that may have dealt with shredding or having shredding done by a company. Anything to be aware of? Hidden charges, reliability, preferred company, how did you do it yourself etc..
I'm talking about 400-450 storage boxes of records that must be destroyed.

I just burn mine in my shop wood stove but I don't have nearly the volume you do!
around here some of the dumps have document shredding days. I don't think you could bring that volume but might get to dump a few, also some of the banks have shredding days.

 

Not sure how far and wide this kind of service is, but in LA they send a shredder truck and dump, shred and compact in one very noisy operation.

It looks like a trash truck with a couple options.
