Because obviously we should ignore the single largest cost driver of a truck designed for commercial use. Do you have any idea what a real 2mpg increase would do for a fleet? What kind of cash flow and cost savings that can generate of a very large number of small businesses? During the B50 life of my motor, I'll spend at roughly two and a half times the cost of the truck on fuel, so it's not a trivial concern.

Just did a 300mi round trip up to the mountains and back. My son drove and he was heavy footing it 70-75mph the whole time. Averaged 13.2mpg.
