I put my long-bed up for sale, found a short-bed in CA.
Wired money to my friend to buy it. Later in the day the buyer for my truck said he had done taxes and had a huge (4x the price of the truck) tax bill. So he backed out.
Luckily my friend hadn't bought the short-bed yet. I don't have that kind of parking... So I am now stalling the CA guy.
I had to sell my 79 dentside when I moved here from Illinois. Was a sad day. My brother in law is looking for a bump though what do you have and what are you looking to get etc etc... I didn't see the ad posted in the thread.
I have a 1972 F250, lowered 3/4 I think (previous owner). Long bed. 360, stock carb.
Looks like the guy from work can buy it, buy needs to make a couple of payments. So I may not be hurting too bad.

I wasn't hitting anyone up for a sale, just whining a bit...
