My 5.4 is done cam lobe and journals scored cam also pitted. Lack of oil to top end caused by tensioner seal gone. Do because of the cost of a used 5.4 and fuel milage I am thinking going to 4.6. The truck is a 2007 5.4 vin 5 trying to find what year 4.6 can I go to other then just 2007. I know I have to change ECM but is there any thing else I will need to do.
