Headers in a 55 F100

New member (will start a build thread someday),
looking to see what headers will fit the 55.
I'm using a 92 mustang 5.0 with standard trans, toyota power steering box (CPP kit).
I know the are many variables, but would like a good starting point.
Thanks for the help

I just this morning seen another thread on this topic here.
I don't think you have enough posts as yet to properly use the advanced
search function. Maybe someone will chime in with some links.
In the mean time post away to get your post count up. Not sure just how many
you need for advanced search.

Could we see some pictures? Here is how.

But I got ta say becoming a supporter is the fastest and easiest way to post pics right from
your whatever pad/cell thing or home computer.
Few of us look in the users Gallery or album as you can see by your recent visitors.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
The best photos and videos | Photobucket

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

Here's a tutorial Bob put together: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...-pictures.html Bob's link is not working. Can someone in the know tell me why?

How to upload pictures to the FTE Forums. - YouTube. Thanks Sam Rusty_Old_F250. Best we can find is that this video was done by Gundown64

You could give Sanderson Headers a call, I'm sure they know what will likely fit (there are a lot of variables such as engine installed height, offset. front to back spacing etc) but they will take them back if the ones they recommend don't fit, will even modify or build a custom unit, and theirs are the best quality street headers out there.

The only thing you need to be careful with is the block hugger headers for the 351W. While the flanges are the same as the 302 the drop angle is different due to the taller deck height of the 351W. Don't ask me how I know about this!

My personal favorite is the Sanderson FF5 header.

I have BBK Mustang shorty headers for a Fox -body (they're designed to replace the OEM headers).

I used 92 Tbird 5.0L stainless factory headers from a scrap yard and coated them with silver ceramic. They were the only ones I could find to clear a C6. There are photos of the LH and RH side header in my gallery.
