Is it big enough ??
Sorry everyone. I have spent ages searching the web thingy and cannot find this info anywhere, so if anyone could help i'd be very grateful.
So I have a 1960 F100 stepside coming, soon,,,,, I hope !! Was supposed to be here Friday, silly me for trusting the word of a auto shipping company when they told me it would get to me Friday, and then to get called Friday and told it probably won't get here until maybe Monday.. Kind of ruined my weekend as I was looking forward to a weekend of checking everything out on her, oh well sorry, back to the question. I cannot find anywhere the physical dimensions of my truck !!
I just really need the total length and width as I want to make sure she will fit in my garage when she gets here.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Short answer is 181.83" edge of front bumper to rear edge of the frame for a short bed half ton. My reference is the 1957 Ford Body Builder's Layout Book. Will be the same as 1960. This book doesn't show beds because its purpose is to provide aftermarket companies the dimensions of the various models to allow their design and installation of commercial beds. The diagrams from this book are very faint and highly detailed but don't scan well. By contrast a 1954 half ton measures 189.1" front bumper to rear edge of tail gate chains. This below chart is from the Salesman's Handbook. Stu
