1959 F100 tech specs?

Ok so a friend is looking into buying a 59 f100 and whats weird is its 4 on the floor.... But the column has the second rod for like 3 on the tree or auto. That shouldn't be there on a stock floor shift right?

And does anyone make the hydraulic clutch master cylinder still? Or is it the same as the break one?

Also, what other engines have the same bell housing bolt pattern as the 223?

EDIT: the T98 transmission, do they make a bell housing to match it up to a ford 289 or 302?
