High rise and spacer?

Do I need to put on a spacer with the high rise Weiand intake for the Street Demon? I know it is usually done, but the M block has a dry intake. If so, what's optimal height for it?

The big square because of the odd secondaries on the Demon. The intake is also square bore, and it only has the plane wall down the center.

The larger the volume inside the intake, the weaker the engine will be a low rpms. If you are setting this engine up for high rpms, along with a stall convertor in a auto tranny, and higher numbered gears in the rearend, that will be ok. If you are leaving everything else stock, it's not going to run very well.

Sounds like I don't need one. That's good to hear.
