WW2 or RR Billet for Van Turbo?

Looking for anyone with experience with one of these wheels on a Van Turbo. From what I have read both are great products with RiffRaff being better for a stock Turbo providing better top end while the WW2 would be better for a Van Turbo with low end spool time. Is this accurate?

Just hoping someone here has some real world experience. I'm Obviously looking for some improvement in the spool up time down low and maybe even a couple more pounds of boost would be nice. Thanks

Which ever one does best at a lower RPM would be my choice. And, that's based on not much experience.

Agreed. I really like the top end and low EGT's while towing. The 1.15AR really breaths but just need a little help down low. I'm hoping one of these wheels can help with that.

The ww2 is what I'm gone to run as soon as I can get it put on. I have been told it works the best with the van.

I would call RiffRaff and ask Clay's opinion as well. I've been running the WW in my Van turbo since 2005 and it has worked well for me. Like you, I like the Van turbo's towing EGT's. It might take sec or two to light, but once she does the boost zips up to 20+ fast. Unfortunately, the only cure I noticed for the low end lag was when I upgraded the injectors & tunes.

The other option is to go with a turbo that has a 1.0 housing - but that option is more $$$ than a compressor wheel.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm leaning toward the WW2. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Hate being the guy that says "Great upgrade and performance mod" without any hard data but... it did exactly what I was looking for. Increased my spool in the 1200 to 1800rpm range and top end had a noticeably SOTP difference I wasn't expecting. This was with PHP 100hp performance tune. I did notice a difference in EGT by about 75 degrees. It seems to climb quicker but then levels off and almost back to historical values. So maybe I created a boost leak I need to check into. I haven't towed with it yet. Also, I think it's actually quieter than the stock wheel in my config with the Ford AIS.

Just an all around quality product from the packing to performance in my opinion.

My Precious...
