Cold and snow this morning. Weather guy said we're about 20* below normal for this time of year.

Al Gore is not accepting my collect calls for some reason. All I wanted to do was complain...

Holy wah, Duane, thanks for the wake up call! This weather has definitely affected my sanity....assuming I was sane in the first place... I'm gonna start looking at vacation destinations.

Anyone have any suggestions?!

This morning I was sitting in my kitchen when I heard a strange noise. I went out my back door to find water gushing out of the spigot on the side of my house next to my driveway. It was 25 degrees. The plastic 'Y' I had on the spigot burst from frozen water. The spigot valve doesn't turn off totally so I had to run down in my basement climb up into a crawl space and shut off the valve going to the spigot. I am glad it broke while I was home. Two days ago it was 81 degrees. I didn't think I had to worry about frozen pipes, hoses and spigots!

How far is Prescott from Phoenix...Dan has been eying up daily drivers in Phoenix lately....

Although it's kinda hard to get excited about a new truck when the weather's too crappy to drive the one I already have!

Note to self: Don't let Bob plan your road trip. Sometimes he mistakes Palo Alto for Prescott.

I'm trying to help Chris out. There was a CL ad earlier today, that I sent to Chris, asking for someone to transport two cars from Waukesha to Palo Alto for $600 a car. I thought Chris could drag them out there and on his way back stop in the Prescott and get some of his fuel paid for. See, I have a method to my madness.

You must not have gotten my email earlier today. I have a feeling Laurie might have intercepted any truck related messages.

Get me the total amount of miles there and back divide by 9 miles to the gallon x $4.00
Cary il to Waukesha 72 miles
Waukesha to Palo Alto 2190 miles
