I finally bought led tail lights from Recon. They look good but they have issues. Occasionally they hyperflash!!! It drives me crazy and I want to fix it.
According to the recon website no resistors are needed. But when I called he said I need a resistor.
What can I do? If a resistor, what kind? Where to put it in?
yes they can be replaced your easiest it to call recon let them know that you get hyper flash with your lights you got from them it might just the resistor is defective the ones I got from them had a bigger resistor it just might need that
They worked fine today. Awful yesterday.
Recon is not reachable until Monday.
Where are the LED guys and Recon users?
i have had 0 problems with the ones i have on my truck. they are usually pretty good about warranting their products. call them up tomorrow and see what they say.
if you have any problems getting a hold of someone email me at Stealthautomotive@gmail.com and ill see if i can help you get it resolved

I am interested to see what they say or do. I have looked at Recon for a long time now but have been hesitant on buying from them because there are many posts about poor quality and very poor customer service.
Can the trucks have their flashers changed out for solid state LED flashers instead of the mechanical flashers that cause this hyper flash issue? I know that's a recommendation for alot of vehicles, and a much better one than adding resistors (which should always be last resort).
