2004 6.0 cuts off unhook battery cranks back?

I bought a 2004 6.0 Excursion 220k miles runs great but when it cold around 8-15 mins of driving it will cut off few times wait 5mins it will restart , today tried to restart many times no crank waited 1 hr fired up for 30 sec cut back off would not crank up unhooked both negative batt cables waited 3mins then fired up ran fine from then on. I ve heard of ICP issues but Im new to this diesel thing, my ICP is under turbo so want a few ideas first before dive in there. It gives no codes, not fuel related meaning starving for fuel running bad etc it will just die under throttle complete shutdown instantly I coast over to the side of the road, today cut off let me know its related to the computer . Ideas suggestions? thx in advance guys

note- Ive drove it for hrs no issues only when cooler I even let warm up before I start driving so the 8-15 min before it cuts off is AFTER I start moving
