Do you have the knowledge base and/ or, worked extensively with American light trucks such as Ford F- Series trucks, Dodge Chev etc??? ....

Our Company has been in operation since 1987, we specialise in the American light truck accessory market. We boast a specialty show room, mechanical workshop and large warehouse stocked with a broad range of American light truck accessories. The company has a well-established Australia wide market presence with a loyal customer base. The company is now in a strong growth phase and must ensure the inventory and logistics business unit is adequately resourced to meet this challenge.

The Job:
This is a FULL TIME position for the right candidate and is based in Mordialloc, Victoria.
Reporting directly to the General Manager the position available is newly created and has a critical role to play within the company’s strategic forward plan. The successful applicant will be accountable for sales and front desk activities. Your daily responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: phone sales, front desk sales, internet sales, customer services and provision of daily sales reports. This is a fast paced job with lots of scope to develop the position further.


The Applicant:
To be considered for this role you will have relevant previous experience in a similar role, you will be a sales professional with demonstrable experience in dealing with the American light truck accessory sales, in particular Ford F series, Chevy, GMC and Dodge. You will be someone who knows a great amount of detail about American light trucks and the associated accessory market.

Skills/Experience Required:
 4 years automotive sales background (minimum)
 Customer service skills
 Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Well developed computer skills
 Proven experience of managing sales and enquiries through a web sales portal
 Experience of selling through 3rd party internet media (eg: E-Bay, adding new products to our website)
 Tencia database experience is desirable
 Exposure to overseas suppliers, in particular USA automotive suppliers
 Ability to work with ambiguity
 High level problem solving skills

I am looking very hard at one of these
2013 Dodge Ram 2500HD Laramie MY14

Looked at the chev nah like the ram better,2013 model it has the same interior as lyns Jeep Laredo 2014 zackery the same,love the look of lyns jeep inside and all its features..

But hey the ram can wait I aint finished with the Ftruck yet..

Actually the Ram is pretty impressive, & $25K cheaper than a new effie dual cab!

Yes they are over the top here...

I looked at the Ram, when I ended up going with my truck, mainly because they are the only ones that still make manual transmissions.

The interior and exterior were nice.

Main problems were - front end issues (ball joints). The Auto transmission sucks, as does the clutch on the manual variants. Fuel economy is crap on the versions that don't use urea injection (i.e. all 2010-2013 trucks) until you delete it, which may cause transmission issues. They also didn't offer a fully locking rear end, and a few other things that I wanted. There were also a lot more electrical issues popping up than there were on the F-trucks.
