12v acc hot accidentally grounded to chassis... I killed my van
Hello, a 12v hot acc run wire accidentally shorted to the chassis and the van stopped running, that's the summary...
96 E350, 7.5l
What works:
Horn honks
Brake lights work
Key chimes when in ignition
What doesn't work:
No crank/start
No radio
No dash lights/no gauges move
So I don't have access to any schematics or the fuse panel layout right now. Visually, I inspected the big fuses in the PDU and they are all good, no blown ones. I am only able to do visual inspections right now, so does anyone have any thoughts as to where to look to see what fuse or fusible link may have been blown? Sorry it's a bit vague at this point but that's all I have for now.

Fuse G in the PDU, tucked away neatly under the brake line coils, must have given me a false view from the flashlight reflection yesterday evening. It was blown wide open. New fuse and some extreme care in dressing the under-dash wiring and now I'm good to go. Thanks for the schemo, it worked like a charm. Wssh I could give you more rep.
