F6 Crashbox & Rear Axle Lubrication

Good Afternoon everyone - I was fortunate the other day to find conflicting data between my Ford Shop manual, and a separate manual for Eaton two speed rear ends. Given that 140W oil is recommended for the beloved Warner 4-speed, and the two speed (per the Ford Shop manual), I was prepared to buy a 5 gallon bucket from Napa; however, the Eaton manual recommends 90W for the rear. What are you guys running in: (a) the tranny, and (b) the rear axle? I'd rather use what you've seen work than guess. Thanks!

In my 49 F-5, I run 85-140 in the trans, and 85-90 in the rear.

I run 85W-140 in both, but it gets hot here in Texas.

I should also clarify I don't have a big truck, just an F-2.

Thank you for your responses! I'm certainly going to use the 85W-140 oil in the transmission; and will most likely use 80W-90 in the two speed rear axle. The hope now is that this truck will accompany me at least once a week on job sites (once reassembled); and actually haul some commercial roofing products! I just want to ensure that I use the right stuff in the right place ... haha. Thanks again!
