67 F100 SB 352FE/C-O-Matic to a 302/C4 from a '68 F100 SB.....Any Issues?
Hello Fellas......I have searched the forum, but couldn't find this same topic.
I have a 67 F100 Short Bed with a 352 FE and Cruise-O-Matic tranny.
I have come across a 302/C4 combo that is currently installed in a 68 F100 SB for a reasonable price including labor and adult beverages....
Are there any unforeseen issues in swapping the 352 for the 302/C4?
I can think of 3 right now....Motor Mounts, Tranny Mount, and Drive Shaft
I can probably get the motor mounts off of LMC/etc.
I can probably move the tranny mount if I need to.
The current drive shaft I have I could get modified, or I may, depending on the length needed, use a drive shaft that I have pulled off of a 1976 F100 SB that I used to do a swap out to PS/PB 6 years ago.
What do you fellas think? Thanks in advance of your advice.

Many Thanks!
Longer Driveshaft.....I have 2. One installed. One on the garage floor with came from a 360/C6, which is shorter. It would be nice if I could use the current. I will have to measure.
As for the stands.......I will procure those, shouldn't be too bad to do so.

I have a few more modifications left. One, the shift linkage on the tranny needs extended so that I have the proper throw on the column. The other is for the gas pedal. I need to extend the pedal rod about 1" so the pedal is not so touchy....lol........and I have got increase the bend on the driver side exhaust pipe for more clearance of the tranny mount.
This cost me for all parts, about $2500. Biggest expense besides the motor was the new drive shaft ($325), new radiator ($250), and exhaust (2.5" pipes with a 1.5" off-set to clear the tranny mount going to cherry bomb glass-packs, exiting 4" past the cab....) . Biggest modification was the passenger side engine bracket that needed to be cut and welded to allow for the headers to fit.
Best thing is, I got to get rid of the 352 FE PIG and increased my hP by a factor of 3.5......g
Next modification is increasing the 9" rear ratio to something higher than 3.0.
I'll worry about the body, some day.

Thanks! The whole process was easier than I thought it would be. It was easier than the front end swap (from a '76 to convert to PS & PB from manual drums and manual steering) I did 7 years ago.
