e4od bw1356 on a 2wd c6.
I have a 2wd c6 I'm putting in my ext cab long box 91 f250 with a 460. I have a 1356 t case off a e4od tranny and I'm trying to figure out if it will bolt up or not.
The c6 is currently in my brothers 77 f250 so it'd be hard to see if it will work, and I don't want to drop his tranny to find out it won't.

The output shaft of the C6 is not compatible with the input shaft of the transfer case. You'll have to replace the output shaft of the C6 with C6 4x4 parts.
Once that is done, sure, you don't have to run a front drive shaft and all will be fine, but I don't think the C6 is the same length as an E4OD anyway, so you'd still need a new rear shaft.
Better off using the C6 without the t-case and having a rear shaft made up, or try to find one at a yard.
