1965 F500 wheels

I just bought a 1965 F500 dump truck. It has split rims which I need to replace. I have search and did some research. No salvage yards in my area have 19.5 or 20 inch Budd wheels with the 8.75in 6 lug. I know Accuride part number #29388 should work. Can anyone tell me if the 20 inch 6 lug deuce and a half wheels work as a replacement on my F500?

Hi js15181, welcome to FTE!

A question like this is best asked in the Large Truck forum. I'll send it over there, hopefully someone can give you a hand with this.

Bolt pattern is the same, and since you say your truck is a '65 it should have the standard Budd type mounting. Called "stud piloted" or a "ball seat" mounting. If you plan to use the military NDT tires that commonly come mounted on these wheels be conscious that tires get tall as they get wide. So try to match the outside diameter of your current tires to avoid rubbing and speedo error.

And btw, welcome to the group. Stu
