Thinking of replacing steering stabalizer

How many have replaced it? Has it made a huge difference. If I do it I'm going to order the rancho RS5413.

I am going to replace mine with a dual set up. It's supposed to be better on your ball joints and steering while towing.

We'll the 5413 should be here tomorrow. Not sure what it will change. Just wanted to change it since I just put in all new 9000'S. I looked at the duel set up but didn't want to spend that much, and I didn't have any wobble or a lot of play.

If you got wobble or play you are driving a Dodge and a stabilizer won't help you!! Lol

I changed mine last year with the bilstein single from XDP. I wish I'd bought the dual setup instead. Noticeable difference.

I went from stock, to BDS dual, to nothing, to a single Bilstein 5100 in the stock location. 34" heavy Nitto Trail Grapplers, had a 2" leveling kit for awhile. I honestly didn't notice a huge difference between any of them during normal driving, but the duals were stiffer on really bad roads. The single works fine now, but I blew out the passenger side inner tie rod end boot, not sure if that's just bad luck and 8 year old rubber or because I ran without any stabilizer for a solid 15k miles.

(hit a stump with the center bracket on the duals, bent it down to where it contacted the tie rod. pulled it and didn't notice a huge difference when the truck was a DD)

bryan,

i have the bilstein 5100 setup all around. she runs fine. i just need to replace the rear sway bar cos of a wreck last year. she drives fine but i'm thinking of doing a bunch of things for peace of mind.

ope u resolved ur tie rod end prob. yikes. i've already replaced everything related to front end except the trac bar and the driver side sway bar end link. when i say almost everything, i meant it. lol.

How many miles do you have on your truck. I had 5100's on my dually and liked them. Thinking of putting the 4600's on my SRW LB.

I put them on at about a little over 100k miles. It's now 144k miles. She's still going. Lol.
