Arrow

When I opened the FTE page, I thought I was in a different forum. Changes are good always. But listen all the comments.

Yup pages load much better now too, no more constant page load icon "spinning" spinning spinning endlessly spinning with "Waiting for doubleclickblablabla" showing bottom of page.

Pages load completely in few brief seconds as they should again now no more constant spin (Firefox).

I thought the Picture Battles were going away since they seemed to be used mostly to host pictures of girls...?

Renee - I will have to try th4e TSBs at work again tomorrow; O run an Firefox add-on that's keeping them from working here at home.

Still have to use the arrow keys to scroll side to side to read the entire post instead of the larger text I prefer re-formatting so I only have to scroll down faster as I read.

I usually resist change, but not this time. I love the new changes and cudos to Renee and the team! One suggestion Renee. When I click on Ride of the Week, it takes me to the owners gallery. I think it would be better if it would send you to the ride of the week post. As one of the Mods that pick the winners we usually post a link to the winners gallery in the thread. I think we might get a better response to the Ride of the Week if the picture would go to the thread. What do you think?

I got stuck with that on page 2 when Archion posted that pic...

My tiny netbook screen can't handle oversize images.
I have my page zoom set for comfortable reading.
It's fine unless someone posts something over about 1,000 pixels wide.

For some reason attached images aren't automatically re-sizing...they haven't been for some time now. I went to edit options and changed to 800x600 and it didn't do a thing.

I like the new look, and the drop down menu in the Black nav bar beside the user name is real handy.

Yeah, mine is set for 800x infinity.
I don't care if I have to scroll down but I lose the Rep and quote buttons as well as the text when images are too wide.

I think this screen is 1020x600

It's a little too bright for me.
I wish there was a palette for background colors in the display options.
