Hey mike guess what day it is?

Hump day!!! Woop woop!

Still one of my favorite commercials lol.

Morning guys..still no luck on the truck. I didnt have much time to look at it yesterday. I got it moved into the driveway and pulled the cap and tried moving the rotor and it didnt move. So I am guessing that the distributor is ok.

Morning Micah! You should crank the truck and see if the rotor moves. That'll tell you if the timing chain failed.

I thought that would tell me if the distributor shaft had sheared off

Morning rob..

Pat most likely its the timing gear...ford thought it would be a giod idea to put a fiber timing gear in the 300. And they tend to blow up

Hi everyone. Bummer about your truck, Micah. Are you sure you can swap materials (fiber to steel) like that without causing a domino effect regarding damage. I think that part is supposed to fail to prevent more serious damage from happening. You might want to research that further before making the swap.
