but if you dont have the tools or the parts to fix it thats a little hard to do.. especially if it fails while your trying to tug on something.. thats why a backup is handy.. if them spur gears fail your SOL till you can get parts...

Holiday I would guess. Nothing but traffic on the highway here today.

If you 're tugging on something and it breaks the winch is too small for the job. Put the right one on in the first place.

didnt say it would break the winch.. said the winch could break.. as in failed.. motors burn up. gears snap. bearings fail.. they can all go just like a flat tire while doing 60 down the highway...

somethings just break regardless of how well their made or even how well theyre maintained..
