Truck work start when I turn the key
I have a 1972 f250 camper special. I turn the key and nothing happens. if I jump the connection at the starter solenoid it will start. Also its a new starter solenoid I used an ignition out of my other truck and it did not start. using the test light I found that the positive side on the small wire is always hot but weak. I am not sure where to go from here.

Do you have the solenoid on the wall as well as the starter. If you do then there is a way to wire it too work .... I had to do it myself befriend me and I can get you more details. I would have posted it up already but due to crappy weather I haven't. Good weather is on its way this weekend
