I would like information how to remove the rear seat back on a 2012 F250. I want to remove the head rests and from what I can find out they are bolted solid to the rear panel. I asked the same question earlier and got a reply for 2011, would that be the same? Is there any place I could get a schematic, a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks in advance.

 

Wish I had a picture, but there are three tabs behind the seat. One on each end and one just a couple inches toward the passenger side from center. If you pull the top of the seat forward about a half inch and look down, you will see them. Push down on the tabs (hard) with a flat blade screwdriver and they will pop right out. Start at one end and work toward the other. Takes 30 seconds once you see them.

 

Is this for a 2012 as the heading says 2011, and from what
I can determine there may be a difference in one year to the next. Thanks for the reply

I know this is old but thanks to info on here I removed those ugly backseat headrests . Never would have done it on my own on my 2015 super cab.
