Give me your fired, your tore, your puddled masses...

I'm posting this on behalf of Firefighter 1406: We have been looking at his AE data and the readings suggested a possible air leak. Well... there are leaks, and they ain't the easy ones. Ups and intake plenums for sure, but after those two... there wasn't any point in continuing with the testing.

He has an early '99 7.3L, so his options are to wrestle with the early components (no billet plenums, expensive ups) - or just get it done and update to late '99. This is where you guys come in. Between all of us doing upgrades from stock to 38Rs, billet wheels, fancy-schmancy spiders and IC tubes - can the collective contribute all the hard components necessary for a brother to upgrade from E99?

I'm not suggesting we raid our work benches and start shipping things off on our dime (but I'm sure it wouldn't be rejected). I had it in mind that our brother could pick up some good serviceable items, update his truck, and fix the problems without the usual Buck$Zooka-breaking blasts. If you have something you don't really need, please share... and I'm sure it can be worked out where neither of you gets hosed.

If you have an early '99 and want to do some horse trading, this is a good time to join in. I'm sure Firefighter 1406 will have some stuff he no longer needs when this is done.

I think this would be a fun collective project to watch... but I'm weird.

Great idea Rich. If I had something to offer I would. I have been thinking of going to billet plenums and would offer my stockers, but the Buckzooka is low on rounds currently...

I've got an ebpv turbo pedestal collecting dust. It needs to be rebuilt. You can have it for the cost of shipping if it will help. It's off my 02.

I will at least be able to throw in a set of up pipes with the ends cut and flipped. For a fresh sealing surfAce. Just don't bad mouth my welds!

I have a new stock intake plenum you can have. Got ordered from Clay by mistake and was not worth the effort to send it back.

subscribing... Have some new parts on the bench waiting for the E99 conversion, just need to pull the Buck$zooka tube trigger to get the rest from Clay, after this I will have parts. My money tree is still in winter hibernation but soon the leaves will be hanging.

Hello all fellow brothers. First of all I want to say thank you to rich for putting this together. He told me he would help me see what we could find but I wasn't expecting all this. He has spent hours on the phone and emailing back and forth over the past few weeks. He is a true FTEr and I thank him very much for his help.

I secondly want to thank you all so far that have offered up parts. I was pretty down when I found out yesterday that my truck was sick and finding out the price of what it was going to cost to get her feeling better took the wind right out of my sails. I appreciate everybody opening they garages and offering up what they have. I will start contacting people and trying to get more info as soon as I get done here.

Again thank you to all that are involved and LONG LIVE FTE!!!!!

You guys all rock for stepping up!

Are the intercooler tubes on both years the same diameter?

Here's a list of what I think I will need to round up. (Not what I am asking for just make sure I am on the right track please)

1. Turbo
2. EBPV pedestal
3. Intercooler pipes (Check, found I could use my original pipes.)
4. Full boot set
5. Tube from turbo to CCV
6. Up pipes
7. Turbo remounting kit
8. Possible turbo rebuild kit
9. Intake Spyder

I am sure I missed some. Please let me now what I missed.

Spider? I know you're looking to do billet plenums.

My early 99 CAC tubes fit just fine with the late 99 engine.
