Your opinion, price for a NP435, used 100k on it?

Guy in NH wants $750 for a Granny 4-sp. Mine makes noise (foot OFF pedal)
750, can't I have mine re-built for 750??????

That's highway robbery unless it is new. I've seen them on CL here for $100 to $200 depending on condition.

That's what I was figuring. Heck, actually found a smallblock ZF for $350 but 9 hours away!!

It would be far less expensive to have the ZF crated and shipped than to drive down to get it - I would think.

I believe the np 435 I have just needs the input shaft bering, can that be done by it self with out opening the whole thing?

I've replaced input & output bearings in a T19; and also the output bearing in an NP435.
I had the lids off but didn't need to strip the transmissions down.

But I can't remember doing an NP435 input bearing; I expect it can also be changed after removing the front retainer, without dismantling except for maybe the lid.
