Can any info bcome from my fiber optic pic?

Since I have no info of what was done to my 302s bottom end when it was rebuilt by the PO. I took a pic thru #1 and #3 spark plug hole using a fiber optic probe/screen . OK my question is , can anything be told about the bore size, piston type ect from these poor quality pics of the top and edges of the pistons. I'm guessing that the 30 means that its bored 30 over, and I can see where they were apparently cut for valve clearance, can anyone glean any other information?

Say Jimmy...is there any way that you can save those pics as a digital file? If you could get them into a jpg or other digital format they may be clearer and easier to analyze.

I "think" you're right on the 30 over. Mighty clean for having been driven!

Charlie, if his scope is like mine, this is about as good as it gets. Not surgical quality.

Jim, if you have a laptop, HF provides a cord to port the image to a computer or TV. That might be better quality. But there's not much more to be seen.

It does have a cord that plugs into the handle and has an RCA jack for the output. My laptop does not have a RCA port, and I still own one of those 250 pound TV's LOL. If I can find an adapter to my laptop Ill try it, if not its cool, at least I know they are .30 over and relieved. Basically those are the two things I most wanted to know. Any more would just be icing on the cake. Both pistons I checked were unbelievably clean, I don't think it has many miles on it.

I had to flush her system with a gallon of fruit flavored sea water the night B4. Then and only then could I lube up the probe with STP and start up the tail pipe. I could swear she moaned a bit when I got to her muffler, LOL
