F100 Front Bumper - Oldest Production Ford F100 product?

I snagged two F100 bumpers off mid-60's trucks. Haven't yet tried to make brackets but I read this fun little fact…

Off-white or chrome? The longest-running component that was constantly used on every single pickup and remained unchanged during the F-series era was the front bumper – from 1959 to 1979.

Is this true outside of the bolt hole placement?

No, absolutely not.

Different front bumpers: 1959/60 / 1961/63 / 1964/77, some 1978 / Some 1978 & 1979.

They look similar thru 1977, early 1978...but looks can be deceiving. Late 1978 and 1979 don't look the same.

Can someone with a 59-60 bumper measure the overall length and height?

I'd like to compare between the two. I have a non-painted 65 and a chrome 78 bumper. Stamping is identical however bolt hole location is different.

65 and 78 are the same length and width but were definitely stamped different.

Size: 79 3/4 X 7 1/8

Sucks that I have both and they're too long :P
