Looked all through my manuals and nowhere does it tell the speaker size for the premium sound system. I suspect it is 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 inch but if anyone knows what the cutouts support I would appreciate you sharing it with me. Richard

 

I am told that both of those sizes fit. are the ones I plan to use.

 

6.5" speakers fit. I just installed some in my truck, also an '85 F250, a month ago.

 

I put 5 1/4 i my 86 and they fit but were small for the hole

 

I have 6 1/2" ones in my 1986 F150 [same door as in your F250].

 

I have some 6 1/2 from a 94 Lincoln continental.... jbl speakers I love them crisp sound and they were free

I bought mine with kickers in the doors. Sound amazing combined with the lmc headliner speakers.
