Great site... Need advice if any available. Bought a new 2011 in May 2011 and except for a turbo at 220k (317k now) this trucks been a dream. Lately I've had trouble getting the same performance from trailer breaks, so did all the easy stuff... Fuses, break power switch and new plug in on hitch. Replaced all the trailer breaks and made sure trailer was 100%. I have power to break pin on plug with hand controller but not when I apply foot break. Just realized that I no longer get a break control reading on display on dash when I apply foot break. My question is.... Can you get power to plug on hitch by using hand control and not when using foot break and the controller be bad?
