There several issues I can see with this situation.just observations really.
1) jasons wife is a very accomplished preparer of food(brother gotta eat)
2) I have seen her with a bow,and would not want to try those odds.
That's what I am saying... These guys just don't understand. I get to go fishing when I want, get to play poker at the fire dept on Friday nights.... I will go to the in-laws every couple months.... after all its a lot less than Tyler. He is at his in-laws about once a week....
I am not sure if Bill was working on "Smokey" tonight or not.... Has anyone heard from him? I haven't seen where he has been on here tonight. I can't believe I left him unsupervised with my truck... I am going to come back to injectors, e-fuel, who knows what, and a huge bill...... This was a mistake!
I didn't work on it last night any, but Tyler came up this morning and in a few hours we had everything ready to try to start the truck. I just tied everything that bolts to the fenders up by some pieces of perforated angle and hung the radiator from the chain hoist.
I have no WTS light, and the CEL doesn't flash when you turn the key on. Fuse 22 and 9 are both good and have power through them, the PCM relay is working, and I swapped in a known good PCM. Checked the bulb for the WTS light and it is good. Truck cranks over, no smoke out the tail pipe and no tach movement. All of the grounds are not hooked up, so I may make jumpers for those and go straight to battery negative. Other than that, does anyone have any suggestions on what else to check?
I had a similar problem after the trans swap. Turned out to be something with the IDM. Either it wasn't grounding good enough, or the wire harness connector wasn't making good connection.
What did you do with all the grounds that bolt to the core surpport on the driver side
I've got two sets of jumper cables connecting them all to the neg posts on the batteries.
I checked a couple of the grounds in the PCM plug, but not all for continuity. I have 12v to the PCM plug on the power input pin, only have 10.5v on the WTS output though. I'm thinking a ground issue too. I have been messing with it for hours and decided to call it quits for tonight. I'll get back at it in the morning.
We were told that the truck only had 160k miles on it, but it has 244k. No big deal I guess. The guy we got the truck from bought it just like we got it....disassembled, and that's what he was told.
