oh Bill you were doing fine... You said it better than me... I was just going to tell them that we got the one thing bolted on and I took the other thing off the one engine to put on the other and the rusted thing had to be manipulated but finally got that bolted on too...
Yea I think that about covers it! 
But I really am learning a lot already and hope to learn a lot more, that way I won't be like Tyler and come running and crying to Bill every time I need to work on something....
(oh wait I have no tools, garage, or knowledge...okay so I guess I will be crawling back if something happens too)
I guess first thing is first though and we have to get it running to see if its going to be worth the time and money.... Time will tell
Did anyone else notice that Bill just happen to forget the camera in the garage for my build, does he ever pull that with his truck? I don't think so....

Nothing extra til we see how it's gonna run. We're hoping to spend his money on nothing but fluids and filters for now. If it runs good and the trans is good, then we will do some other stuff to it.

Looks like a good learning expirence. I didnt get to know my truck that well till years after i got it. Maybe i missed it in the thread when you first got it, but why was it in pieces to begin with? Hope it runs for you Jason.

Sally...... Really Bill! Your hitting LOW!
Well we couldn't work on it yesterday. I have commitments on Wednesday. But back at it tonight I guess. Bill, I went to Tractor Supply to get coolant yesterday but they only had one jug. I asked if they had any in the back but he said no. I will call to check to see if they got any in last night.
Yes, we want to see if "Smokey" is going to smoke before we dump too much in. Its a shame to not do a lot of "necessary" things while the engine is out, I know, but I just can't but the time and money into it if we are not going to be able to get it running.
And Tyler actually found the truck for me. Long story but the guy we bought it off of, got it from a guy that had disassembled it to do some work. He then met a girl and moved to South Carolina. The guy got it from him to fix up with his son, but son lost interest. He sold it to me for what I believe is a good price.... Hopefully I will still be saying that when we get it together.

We got the engine and trans in this evening. Still have a lot to do. Jason is going out of town this weekend, but Tyler said he may come up and help me some. I'm still shooting for firing it up this weekend though. We'll see
