'54 Grille

Anybody got any ideas on where to come up with a '54 Grille? I've checked out all the places I thought might have one. Thanks.

I`ve got one tucked away but I`m too far away to do you any good.
Other than that I`m out of ideas, hopefully someone can come up with one closer to you.

i'm in the hunt with you. I actually prefer the '54 nose over the others. I have a nice '53 grille that I'd love to trade somebody for their '54. but '54 was, I think, the lowest production year of the series, and generally, that grille is not very popular, it seems. I think a lot of them got tossed by the rodders and replaced w/ '56 grille/deflectors. I do have a couple '54 grilles, but they are rough. One is just the center section an the other is on a recently acquired truck that I've yet to decide what to do with it.

Sadly there WERE a lot of 54 grilles out there but many people scrapped them and went with 56 grilles or the chrome jobbies. I PERSONALLY think the 54's had the neatest look. I buy everyone of them I can get my hand on. I will look in the barn tomorrow and see if I have one or two I can part with. Do you guys also like the hash marks on the grille?

"Hash Marks" Custom Cab only. (Edit: Deluxe Cab only, as Bessie pointed out...there were no Custom Cabs until 1955).
