Ranch Hand legend questions

I am looking into a Ranch Hand legend front replacement bumper for my truck since I like the look of them. The website says it weighs 285lbs.

My truck is a 2014 F250 XL with the snow plow prep package and the front springs are 5940lbs. Would I have any sag on the front end by adding the bumper? Or are the springs heavy enough since its about half of what a plow setup weighs.

Has anyone installed one on an 11-14 SD truck and if so do you have any issues with it? Like front end sag, fitment or anything else? Thanks!

You have 6K rated front springs with the plow package. It should be fine.

I would imagine your going to be fine. Plow package is typically for 1000lbs, so at 300, minus the factory bumper you'll have 8-900 left over.

get a couple of buddies to stand on your bumper and see how much the front end drops.

Im afraid of bending the paper thin bumpers I think I am going to place the order tomorrow! I talked to my neighbor earlier who as a 2012 F250 CC LB 4x4 plow prep package. His 7-6 ultramount pro + plow seems to have no effect on the truck height at 700lbs, and the truck is still level with the plow up. Thanks guys, Now I have to post pics of the finished product hopefully within the next week!

Well they came in the other day and I finally installed them yesterday. It did drop my front end about an inch in the front while the rear never changed. You can feel it in the steering of the truck. Even though it dropped the front end a little it seems like the excess bounce and slop has gone away.

I am going to have Ford re-flash the transmission tomorrow so the truck and "re-learn" the shift points with the new heavier bumpers.

I wasn't able to get a pic of the front yet. Shortly after I finished the install the wind picked up and brought rain.
